JAPANESE TRADITIONAL WORKSHOPS

Appreciate Japanese traditions and culture

At the Nihonbashi Information Center, use materials and techniques that are uniquely Japanese in a variety of traditional craft workshops. Make decorations from mizuhiki cord using techniques handed down from the Edo period, use pinched and folded cloth from yukata fabric to create tsumami zaiku accessories, choose kanji characters for your name and have a hanko name seal made for you, and cut traditional Japanese washi paper into beautiful shapes. Here, you can create unique souvenirs and eternal memories. All workshops are held in English.
